Mindfulness

With our lives more than ever becoming increasingly busy, people are understanding the need to  look after themselves better. The practice of Mindfulness has been proven to ease anxiety, anger and sadness, but also to improve levels of happiness and concentration. Although Mindfulness techniques are often talked about, what Mindfulness actually is, people often misunderstand.

Mindfulness is about changing our relationship with our thoughts, so that we don't feel so caught up in unhelpful ways of thinking. Mindfulness brings us into the moment, so that strains and stresses from the past, or worries we have for the future, don't have so much control over how we feel today.

I offer  a 6 week Mindfulness course to guide you through the principles of Mindfulness. During that time we will look how you experience stress, the link between your thoughts and feelings, stuck thoughts,  along with my giving techniques to practice that help to calm the  mind.
