I have always been interested in people and why we feel the way we do, how our past influences us today and why we form the relationships we have.
After studying Psychology I went on to qualify as a therapist in 2004. My training is in Counselling Psychology, which equips me to practice using a number of theories such as psychotherapy, CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and humanistic therapy.
Therapy is about providing a safe, supportive and collaborative relationship, with the aim to help you understand yourself better, resolve internal conflicts, improve the quality of your relationships and bring more calm and clarity into your life.
Since qualifying I have worked in counselling organisations, bereavement services, in private practice, offering crisis family work for social services and in schools.
I work with adults, teenagers and families.
